The Leonard E. Warren Melanoma Foundation will conduct its tenth annual fund-raising event in Madison, Mississippi, on April 6, 2013 at 5:30 p.m.

The event, a 5K run/walk and a one-mile fun run, will be supervised and timed by the Mississippi Race Timing. It will begin at the Madison campus of Baptist Health Systems, located on Highland Colony Drive in Madison. T-shirts and melanoma prevention tips will be provided to race entrants.

A free melanoma skin cancer screening will be conducted before the race by area doctors, and door prizes will be given away, including an Apple iPad Mini. You must be present to win.

All profits from this event will be used to fund Melanoma awareness efforts and to help medical researchers search for a cure.

Baptist Health Systems has signed on as the title sponsor for the Tenth Annual Run From The Sun.

Baptist was one of first sponsors for the inaugural event, and they have continued to support the run every year.
